Membership Requirements

Membership in the AAUW is open to anyone who holds a two-year associate’s degree or higher degree from an accredited college or university.

By joining AAUW, you will belong to a community that breaks through educational and economic barriers so that all women have a fair chance.

AAUW advances equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy, and research.

* If a member joining after March 31 pays full dues, membership is good for the following year as well as the current year.
** $46 of Regular dues is tax deductible for payments made to AAUW-NOCB, our 501(c) (3) charitable organization.  $3 of Regular dues is not tax deductible as it goes to support the AAUW Lobby Corps and election-related activities.
