Membership Requirements
Membership in the AAUW is open to anyone who holds a two-year associate’s degree or higher degree from an accredited college or university.
By joining AAUW, you will belong to a community that breaks through educational and economic barriers so that all women have a fair chance.
AAUW advances equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy, and research.

* If a member joining after March 31 pays full dues, membership is good for the following year as well as the current year.
** $56 of national dues is tax deductible for payments forwarded to AAUW, our 501(c) (3) charitable organization. The balance is not tax deductible as it goes to support the AAUW Lobby Corps and election-related activities, as well as local activities under the AAUW-NOCB 501(c)4 umbrella.
